My name’s Alekkz (yes it is legally spelled that way as of … I forget).

It’s the traditional pronunciation as “Alex” but once you get to know me, you know I like to be odd (this was way before all the kids of this generation started naming their kids funky names).

I’ve always been drawn to art, drawing, and just pretty colors my whole life. As an Asian, you may know that becoming an artist as a career was nowhere near possible when your parents worked so hard to come to a foreign country to provide us with the best education possible to become successful as a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. So I had to fold up my dreams and tried to study medicine in college but just wasn’t my thing.

I ended up with a degree in psychology because I always found human behavior fascinating and I knew I didn’t want to become a counselor or a therapist but just got the degree to satisfy my parents’ expectation of graduating college.
